A core element of LEAP is the creation of practical visions for steering synthetic biology to benefit society

Over the course of the LEAP Fellowship, Fellows collaboratively develop Strategic Action Plans that articulate key challenges and opportunities in advancing synthetic biology in the public interest, and propose strategies to address them. These Strategic Action Plans serve as vision papers, and mechanisms for attracting people and resources within and beyond LEAP. They are intended to be “living” documents that evolve over time, and we encourage feedback from the wider synthetic biology community. In this way, LEAP will become a venue for proposing and vetting key biotechnology leadership visions and strategies. Browse the Strategic Action Plans from our pilot program here.
